Song 81 “Ever”

Liquid you - Track 3

Drama head has gone to bed and left me here to write.

The new Tom Waits thing came out and that is nice. Oddly what I expected but also some surprises. The front cover is my favorite thing about it. He has made himself some kind of interesting room.

Ever to never land is fun to sing. I have done two sessions with it and will try a third tomorrow. I have an initial version which I am playing on the stereo out in the front room. I am singing along with this and have also been playing around with a hand powered mixer but I can’t seem to get what I want. As it stands now it sounds like it does not belong partially because the rest of the thing is on such a groove. But then I listen to it with the two prior songs and think “Well, maybe…

The house and its surroundings get nosier and nosier. You’re back to the mixer. What belongs and what doesn’t? I do desire the blank canvas of quiet so I shut down heating systems and unplug appliances.

The wind has really picked up.
