Song 71 "Remember Me Now" (II)

Waddle and Daub – Track 5

I sang this enough that I learned how to sing it.

This one goes out unadorned.

There are three verses here that each belong to the three central characters in the film “Even Steven”. The fourth verse belongs to history and opportunity.

The funeral for the folks who didn’t die cinched its inclusion.

Split Focus

Why not another moment to rock?

These last few weeks have introduced a frenzy of non-((newstereo)) artistic activity and brought to bear the question of what happens when I just do not have time to work several sessions on the first of the month release. The answer, if I desire to maintain my commitment to this project, must come in the form of an improvisatory and chance based hit and run song. I cannot say that I did not see this coming. There is only so much time to devote to work that does not pay the bills and since I am the type of artist who feels like nothing is ever finished it becomes just as well to cut this process off earlier than later. As the lady said “One rock is as good as another to wreck upon” and a moment to rock is better than no rock at all in a process which is as much about continuity as product.

Thanks for listening.

Song 71 "Remember Me Now" (I)

Waddle and Daub – Track 5

Remember the two hour song.

This working may make the album.

This thing has spawned from that damn movie. That damn movie has got me wanting to act again. Acting is something I should do more of in these songs.
