...and more promises

One more round. One more time.

I promise to enjoy the internet for the changeling it is and make change an integral part of online existence. Why is change heralded with such fanfare? The mistake is to see the internet as an extension of television. Televison resists change. Formula is the eulogy of form. Sound and light are working over time to pour change over us. Listening to a piece of music in the car, on a rainy day, we are hearing something altogether new. Windshield wipers, the direction of rain striking the car, the shape of the cabin, passing splashes and innumerable other fine details have become part of what is coming out of the speakers. We cannot sense the same thing twice. Moments factor in everything to become unique. The universe is alive with change. The internet exemplifies this with boundless mutability.
